This home is nicer than other homes in the same area with similar floor plans, has a small pond in back yard that most similar homes in Island Park do not have, and has extra amenities the others do not have (such as a 2-man kayak, crab pots, clam rakes, boogie boards and other beach stuff).  This is a fun house for an active family.  This home also includes linens and most rentals do not.  Lastly, with all the extra amenities this home rents for less than the other homes like it, essentially making all these extra amenities - FREE

A nice community pool is also a great plus.

A beautifully furnished and equipped 4BR, 3BA, 1600SF home (new in 2002) located in the private, gated community of Island Park on the West End of Ocean Isle Beach.  Less than a five minute walk to the beach with very direct beach access (next to the brand new Islander Beach Club and Restaurant). Just three homes down from the Intracoastal Waterway – a perfect family beach neighborhood! 

Island Park has a number of homes in it that are very similar in design, look, size, and age.  Interior furnishings are similar.  This home rents for  less than similar homes available through the large real estate companies.  What makes 36 Atlantic Way a better value than the others are the extra amenities provided that most of the other homes do not provide, such as the bicycles, TV's in every room, and the baby items.  The location is a good one in Island Park as well, backing up to the little waterway and facing the morning sun.  Homes that have back decks that face afternoon sun can be brutal in summer sun, and generally unbearable.  This nice back deck with great view is enjoyable throughout the day.   With the extra amenities, this home is easily a $200 superior value, when compared to other Island Park homes  available from the large real estate companies. 

The little canal in back of the house DOES NOT attach to the Intracoastal Waterway, but it is stocked with fish, water stays in it at low tide, and you can put a small recreational float or kayak in it.  Great fun for the kids and the "young-at-heart" adults.  The development does have common areas with access to the Intracoastal waterway.  Less than 100 yards from the house, a small boat (kayak) can be easily put into the waterway.  It's a direct walk on the development common areas and is very convenient.

  • 2 community boat docks great for fishing or launching small boats
  • house backs up to canal waterway (not attached to Intercoastal Waterway)
  • back deck gets morning sun, but in the heat of late afternoon, is shaded, due to favorable home position
