We want
to cost effectively reach vacationers and provide renters with
sufficient information to make an informed decision when renting a
vacation home. Full disclosure is a common theme to all of the
property advertised and all dealings with vacation renters.
Without
expensive advertising costs, no 800 numbers, no facility, only the
inexpensive internet, we are able to deliver more value for your
vacation dollar than the competition.
First
and foremost, we want to rent to caring families, who will respect our
properties. In return, we will provide you with more value for
your vacation dollar, both in terms of amenities and the rental charge.
We follow these
principles and themes in our personally owned home at 32 Newport
Street, and only work with other
homeowners who share our views of full disclosure, who are personally
active in maintaining their property, and who want to personally insure all the
house guests vacation experiences are pleasant ones.
In
setting up our home (at 32 Newport) for ourselves and our guests,
we strived for cleanliness, freshness, and providing as many amenities
as possible, while being able to keep the rental charge in a reasonable
range. We also tried to focus on giving the cottage a home flavor
instead of looking like a rental. For example, the furniture is
nice, clean, functional, cheery and bright. The
ping-pong table, kayak, High Speed Wireless Internet, basketball goal,
and golf cart add other unique amenities to the home. Quite a few of the
owners in our group have similar amenities. I am confident you will not
find any web site for vacation rentals with a group of properties not only has
no "lousy properties", but has a group with as many special amenities
as this group has.
In addition to

Homeowner Profile
We are
vacation homeowners at Ocean Isle Beach. We reside in Concord,
N.C. Our beach home can be rented through this site. This web site and
advertising service is
handled personally by the owners of the 32 Newport house, Marc and
Sharon Weibel. We started this site in 1999 with the purchase of
our beach house, and have expanded it over the years, as some of our friends and
acquaintances have found this is a great way to reach you cost effectively and
provide you greater value.
If you rented 32 Newport, you would work directly
with us. If you rented any of the other properties advertised on
this web site, you would initiate communication with us, and we would
introduce and refer you to the owner. You would finalize your
bookings and contract directly with the owner. Some
of the owners also work with local real estate companies for portions of the
year. To the extent that they do, it is noted on the detail page of the
property. In all cases, our web prices are under those of the local real
estate companies. If you initiate your rental through this site, the web
prices will always be honored by each homeowner.
All of the properties advertised on
this web site are very nice. Each homeowner visits their
properties regularly, upfitting,
retrofitting, upgrading, and freshening them as caring homeowners. The
care we give our properties shows to our renters. If you have
stayed in beach rentals over the years, you can easily tell the
difference in places that receive a lot of homeowner care and those who
do not.
If none
of the properties we have are right for you, or if your group is larger
and you wish to rent our property and others, we can perhaps (and will
be glad to) help you with recommendations. This
website was originally created with the primary purpose of renting our
home, but has grown to an advertising service that allows all of the homeowners
to find you, the renter, efficiently, and inexpensively, so that you can find
good vacation rentals at good value.
We
have personal familiarity with each property on the web site. Every owner
is someone we have met down at Ocean Isle over the years. If you give us
the opportunity, we can find you a great place and save you some money.
You may not get "something for nothing", but you will get
"more for less".. and the reason is lower overhead costs (no real
estate agency commissions) that can be passed along to you.
